AGI AWARDED GATEWAY INNS & SUITES DESIGN-BUILD RENOVATION

AGI awarded Gateway Inns & Suites Design-Build Renovation, Virginia Beach, VA.

AGI is pleased to announce the award of a NAVFAC Design-Build contract for the interior renovation of a Gateway Inns & Suites project at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Design-Build project includes complete interior renovation of 86 guest suites, corridors, reception area, and associated spaces. Work elements include: selective demolition, cast-in-place exterior steps, minor masonry, doors/frames/hardware, AT/FP compliant curtain wall system, GWB, acoustical ceilings, interior painting, wall protection, casework, reception desk, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications. Several existing suites will be upgraded to current ADA compliance standards. The centerpiece of the project will be the lobby which will include soffits, guest services area, vending area, lounge, wireless access, business center, and other amenities. The project is expected to be complete in the fall of 2015.
