AGI ESTABLISHES SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM

AGI is pleased to announce the creation of a summer intern program.  Thad Rich, a Civil Engineering Student at Virginia Tech, has accepted our internship offer.  Mr. Rich will be supporting pre-construction and construction operations during his internship at AGI.  The first half of his internship will be dedicated to supporting the pre-construction/estimating department, specifically Divisions 01-08.  Duties will include itemized take-offs, site visits, Subcontractor intent-to-bid packages, review of specifications, and learning about the nuances of estimating.  The second half of his internship will be dedicated to the application of his estimating experience in the field performing in a “support and hands-on” position with our Superintendents on various projects.  This support will include demolition, minor concrete installation, joint sealants, and doors/frames/hardware.   AGI looks forward to the establishment of our intern program with Thad and hope to continue with other students in the future.
