What do you do when you have a high profile project, located in one of the busiest cities in the world, on an active waterway, and with a logistically challenging site? Asturian was asked this same question. Our answer and completed past performance resulted in the award of one of our most challenging projects to date. The project required the refurbishment of a pier damaged by hurricane Sandy at Battery Park in lower Manhattan. Asturian assembled a team of construction professionals to formalize and execute the project and was completed ahead of schedule. The challenges of the location, proximity to the Staten Island Ferry pier, and associated security requirements were all overcome and resulted in a highly successful project. The success of the project was due to the highly skilled construction professionals, craftsmen, key subcontractor, and client collaboration.
